   The base of the YakAttack XL cleat is notably thicker than the base on the regular YakAttack Cleat. Thus the XL Cleat won’t work in combination with the YakAttack Double Header paddle holder and a YakAttack Mighty Mount Switch (YAMMSW). The t-bolt is too short to leave enough threads to catch the nut that holds it all together and for you to be able to slide the assembled package into the MMSW. You could use a popsicle stick to hold the t-bolt up so you could grab it with the nut and assemble all the parts on the kayak, but that was too much hassle for me. The regular cleat works fine on the paddle holder and the assembled package will slip into the MMSW channel. The XL cleat is a good product and I kept it for uses elsewhere.
