   PRO:1. Arrived on time.2. Fits perfect to the standard seats.3. Little spring is heavy duty and should last years.4. Zinc Plated Finish, so let’s hope it does NOT rust.CON:1. Only comes in the clear coat Zinc Plated Finish.2. They should sell a set of two at a discount price.3. A bit expensive for what it is.OTHER:1. Buy if you need the standard mounting bracket for a seat.2. DON’T BUY if you are looking for stainless steel, then again it’s be more expensive.

   For me it would have worked better if the shaft had been 1/2 inch longer so I could drill for a keeper pin. I had to add to it so I could pin it, just made it better for my application.

   I don’t know what others had problems with. I’m big 6 3″ 285 strong enough for my fat butt. Not for seats while the boat is moving at speed.

   This seat mount works well, but I think my next mount will have to be Height adjustable, with a little bit of shock absorption built in.
