I got this for my almost 3 year old who weighs about 28 lbs. Being petite, the shoulder straps lended more support by hugging over her little shoulders.It’s not heavy at all but for really little ones I’m sure it’s weighty.She wore it all weekend in the pool and seemed very comfortable sitting down with it on at mealtimes. I am so happy with it!Gave her lots of confidence and kept her completely afloat. I could breathe easier knowing she is safer.Rinse and hang to dry (avoid direct sun bc I read it could fade, I hung mine in the shade and they drip dried quickly).The bright turtle and stars are very cute and eye-catching, plus it’s easy to get on and off. 5 stars!

This was a lifesaver while we were at the beach and pool this summer. My daughter doesn’t mind putting it on at all. And it adds a little extra comfort for me knowing that she’s wearing it. She’s always by my side. But toddlers are quick!!! We all know how easily they can slip away. And knowing she’s wearing this keeps my anxiety a little lower around the water.

I had a hard time finding one of these with the straps to go over my son’s shoulders, but this is exactly what I was looking for. He’s 2 and it fits him perfectly on the tightest setting with absolutely no slipping. He’s very comfortable in it and has no problems or complaints about wearing it when he’s in or around a pool. I highly recommend this product to anyone whose kid is around a pool frequently! And i’m glad he’ll be able to wear this for a few years until he learns to swim.

This is great. My son loves it. Such a great aid to help to teach him to swim. He is almost 1 1/2 and about 23-26lbs- which is why I got the one with cloth straps, but it fits, with room to grow. He cannot use alone, I must hold somewhere- even if its just the back straps. he will roll over, or his butt just floats up. But he loves floating around and “swimming” with this and fees safe. he will move his arms and kick when he wants to swim. this tool will really help him feel safe and learn in no time.

Easy to put on, stays put. My grandson is still able to flip over and get his face in the water – a really good reminder not to ever take your eyes off of children in water regardless of safety devices in use.

This life jacket is awesome! Keeps my 26lb 21 month old toddlers head above water and is stable floating in the water- not tippy. We had tried a couple cheaper brands but her head too easily dipped forward in them risking inhaling pool water. I was not comfortable with that. This little jacket gives her the freedom to safely swim with her head above water unless she is purposely trying to dip it down. Definitely feels safe. Also like the top/shoulder straps/tank top thing as it prevents any possibility of it sliding off and helps to hold the jacket in place better. Also, the blues on this are light, which I love! Bought it for my daughter, who is our first, and like that it could easily be for a boy or a girl. Referring to the blue dolphin one. Can’t stand the bright red hot pink weird design character ones. This one is cute while still fun design for the kids, and absolutely safe WITH SUPERVISION always, just incase. US coastguard approved.
