   I have had several types of these inflatable life jackets. This one is by far the best. The buoyancy is enough to hold my 290 lb body upright. The way it inflates, if you are thrown from your bat and rendered unconscious, it has enough flotation to turn you over on your back and save your life. It is this and lightweight enough to wear all day without even noticing you have it on. Get one….get three!

   The instructions on arming the system were not clear. Once I was able to reach ONYX, their customer service was very helpful.

   This seems like a nice, well made life vest, but found out it is not Coast Guard Type 1 Approved. I was pulled over on a jet ski and told that I would need another life vest, because this one was not intended for jet ski/ocean use.

   I use this pfd while kayak fishing. Even on hot days this is very comfortable. Does not interfere with paddling, casting, or anything else I’ve done with it on.

   Have not used yet but came highly recommended by person who has worn often. Not water trial.
