   Never having purchased a kayak life jacket before, I can attest that this vest is exactly what is described in the advertisement. I’m a 5′ 9″ woman, full-figured (wear 16/18) top. It’s comfortable, even in the most dire heat. It’s adjustable for bustier people and narrower/larger waistlines. I paddle for hours at a time and find this vest very comfortable! There’s no chafing and the back portion of the vest fits properly against the seat of the kayak.One suggestion to everyone! Please buy a cooling towel and place it around your neck for the hot days. It fits nicely around the neck area and sits comfortably with the kayak vest. GREAT CHOICE!

   I am a woman, 5’2.5”, 159 lbs. This fits me perfectly and doesn’t ride up in the back when I’m in the kayak. Freedom of movement is great for paddling, good for fishing. The only movement that’s a little restricted is when I reach all the way across my body to fish in a hard-to-reach spot. Not really a problem—I just maneuver the kayak to a better position. I love this life jacket.

   If you can get one that fits you, it’s a comfortable, lightweight PFD with great range of motion.I’m 5’8″ 200lb with a big belly and the X-Small/Small is almost too big. I ordered this for my wife, but it swallows her up and there is no smaller option. I’m not sure if some just got sized wrong, but there’s no way this is a small.

   It fits me well, I can adjust the straps to be fairly tight around the waist to keep it from riding up around my chin. It is comfortable enough to wear for a few hours of paddling. The thick padding is likely necessary to obtain sufficient flotation, but I do feel a bit like Violet Beauregarde while wearing it.

   I bought two of these for kayaking. Honestly, this jacket is so comfortable that I forget I’m wearing it at all. It’s worth it to me to pay extra for special kayaking ones versus the typical life jacket.

   These work great for our kayaks. Fully adjustable and perfect range of motion.I like my XL and my wife likes her Medium. Perfect for us both and very stylish.

   1st review I only gave it 3 stars. Turns out it just took me some getting used to & now I love it for my intended use which is kayaking.
