I sometimes don’t drive the car for several weeks. The longer it is, the harder it is to start. This last time it was dead. I had used my trusty charger. I had jumped it. I used a trickle charge for days. Nothing. Read the reviews on this product and figured I’d give it a try.Put it on the standard charge mode. Still nothing. Went to repair mode and finally understood Dr. Frankenstein’s elation. I thought it couldn’t be that easy. So I put the charge feature on the next morning. Did it’s short cycle and showed fully charged. Ventured out to test it and it went well. It’s been several weeks, sometimes with 3-4 days between driving. I wish I’d known about this product earlier. Couldn’t have told friends with boats and RVs about it. But now know it’s manic with cars. Small and easy to use, it will be part of my long trip packing. A life-saver.

I came across this product as I was looking for ways to add a 110V to my van build solar system. My prior experiences with “shore lines” from my travel trailer days was leaving me wondering. Easy to set up and use, it charged my new 200 AH lithium solar battery overnight. It feels solid and hopefully the quality of this product will result in years of use. I’m pretty excited about this product line in general as they have products made for batteries that sit in infrequently used vehicles. From my reading, it appears this device is designed to be safe for these types of long term charging situations. It would suck to burn down a vintage collectible vehicle with a trickle charger. (Yes, I’m too lazy to pull the battery and charge it elsewhere).

This replaced a 2 amp charger on a dump trailer which was very slow. This charger is bigger but works alot better
