I ordered these because they were the least expensive on Amazon and they looked exactly like the more expensive brands. I approached it as kind of a gamble, but it paid off because the racks are very nice and seem very sturdy. The padding is nice and the screws it came with are plenty for hanging a few longboards. Very happy with the purchase.

This item was a great value. I do think I ultimately may replace it with something better. It might be better it the width from top to bottom was smaller than actual. Long story short, thereβs clearance between the garage door and board but the door does βcatchβ the board so it sort of drags it a tiny bit. I initially tried to install it closer to the door opening and it shimmied so much it actually broke the screws and the mount fell. Once I moved it back so only the tip would hit the door it seems to have corrected that issue but it does still catch slightly.Again, very good product for the price when compared to alternatives.

They seem like they are well made. Aluminum tube with some thick padding on it. Holds my standup board just fine.Downside is the holes arenβt 16β apart. This means it will never line up on your studs. The product included drywall anchors – but they arenβt the type that will hold much weight with a vertical load. So, you must mount the holders to a wood backer that is drilled into studs.

Very good for paddle boards, perfect actually.Might be a little on the light side for some of the larger heavier kayaks.Easy to install as long as the structure mounted on is strong enough for the weight.

These were hard as heck to install on our ceiling. We had to use a laser level and used chalk line to get these to line up. You can’t just do it “by eyeing” it. Trust me. It took us about 30 minutes of back and forth. Discussing how we were going to get them exactly parallel – and we came up with laser level and chalk line. Once we were able to get them to line up…we also had to make sure they hit a “stud”. Easier said than done but we did that. After all that, we got them installed and up went the paddle boards. Up and out of the way. Take a deep breath before attempting to put these up – it’s definitely a two person job. Find your sense of humor and get it done. You’ll appreciate the sturdiness of them, the space putting the paddle board away gives you. Good luck and remember – laser level and chalk line!!

This mount rack is a good deal for the price, and is sturdy enough for one paddle board, but it might bend some with 2 boards or a very heavy board. Overall, a good rack
