   I bought these for a 22ft pontoon boat. While it is plenty sturdy it is so heavy stiff we couldn’t get it through the cleat on the boat without significant effort. I would buy something smaller unless you have big boats with big cleats.

   We slip our boat in South Jersey in the salt water. I’ve used these ropes in the past with my sea ray. They hold up to the salt water well. Because of their construction, you can cut to length if needed, and Burn the end so it won’t fray. They also don’t have a tendency to stretch overtime.

   The splicing and whipping is top notch, but even after two years of use, the lines are stiff and kinky. Not bad, just not great.
