Seamed like a very sturdy hook but it broke off my 24′ pontoon boat and I lost my box anchor and 100ft of rope and almost drifted into another boat.UPDATE: Called Danik and they are sending me a replacement at no charge. Still don’t have a anchor but that’s part of owning a boat.

The only thing that would make this easier is if my boat came with a centered cleat. Since it doesn’t, this is literally the best thing there is. Amazingly sturdy, I feel like I could anchor a yacht with this thing. I use it on a 2022 Yamaha SX195. Simply leave it attached to the line since I generally anchor in the same place every time. When it’s time to use it I simply attach this to the now eye and toss the anchor overboard. The rest of the line stays in the storage locker and things are good to go! Never has it slipped or lost the rope. Need more line after setting anchor? Press the button. Need less? Pull the line. Easy as it comes.

The stainless is beautiful and this clip is strong. Works flawlessly with a 3/8″ anchor rope. I’ve got about 34 feet of anchor line that I use in a small boat on local lakes where that is the maximum depth, and this allows me to set my anchor depth at whatever I want and clip it off to the bow eye very easily. Great product!

Works perfectly on my anchor rope for our Tritoon. Now I can just play out line till I reach the desired depth for the anchor and easily clip it to the eyelet on the pontoon log. Getting another one for my brother’s boat.
