Cut and design are good for paddling. Lined pockets are nice to warm your hands. Surprisingly, the zipper is all metal except for one part which is plastic. Plastic was cracked on arrival. First time I zipped it up, I was holding the zipper pull. Seems foolish to make the part that gets tugged on by the zipper pull out of plastic. For the price, I expected more.

This is a great PDF for anyone in a sit in or sit ontop kayak. No flotation on the lower back to come between you and your kayak seat. I jumped into a lake to test it out and it floated me at 240lbs just fine without moving my arms or legs to paddle. Comfortable enough to wear all day and no restrictions on movement makes paddling a kayak a breez.
