I was surprised see how thick the insulation was on this wire. If you don’t have experience with metal types you might not think this is pure copper but it is better than that. It is pure copper that is tinned!! I have not used this wire yet but it appears it should work great. I will definitely measure voltage drops after installation and if for some reason it is too severe I will update this review for sure. However I strongly believe this is going to be a high performing wire and should last a long time if installed properly.

Truth in advertising, really copper strands tinned. Easy to strip jacket. Nice thick insulation on wires. Using for 12vdc rail supply for LED strings. Measured minimal voltage drop over 140ft with varying loads. Will be flexible enough to re spool with piggy backed RGB strings. Way less expensive than other similar products. Did receive 200 ft as requested. Plastic wrapped not on spool saves shipping costs. Respool it and make your project easier than some tangled mess.

This is top-quality wire and a great seller! Delivered to my doorstep the next day! I use the 12 gauge / 50ft. roll for making my own outdoor solar panel wiring connections. This wire is easy to work with, very flexible, reasonably priced, and a much higher quality wire than anything I’ve found so far for any outdoor use. Excellent product, fast shipping, and a great seller. Five ***** Stars from me!

the hardest part on using this product was getting the white insulation pealed back to strip the wires . i used it on hooking up electric brakes on my 16′ low boy and i’ve got extra left out of 50′ for marine use

I bought this wire to use on the farm for things like wiring an electric sprayer pump and such. It’s quality wire I don’t have to worry about melting after having ran a motor or such for a while. Tinned, sheathed, nothing to complain about. Will buy another roll when I need it. Seller and shipping were fine.

Used this for an anchor light at the top of a 65′ mast. The tinned copper wire will hold up far better to an ocean environment than the wire being replaced and is plenty strong enough to support its own weight. This is great quality wire at a terrific price.

I bought a 100ft of the 14gauge wire believing this was speaker wire. It is not intended for home or car audio. However, this is well made wire. The protective outer coating is very thick. I bet you could tie this to your bumper and pull another car with it. It is pure copper and the 14 gauge size rating is actually accurate. My only problem was I needed speaker wire to connect up my surround sound system not electrical wire to connect lights in my boat. I called their customer service and asked if they thought it would work for for my needs. He said βHow interesting but I wouldnβt recommend it because speaker wire generally has more strands.β I used it anyway and Iβm glad I did. Maybe because 14 gauge is overkill for surround sound speakers but it sounds clean and clear. I had my receiver single out each and every channel and the equalizer to listen to the whole hz range individually. No dull or unclear points in the sound spectrum. I recommend this wire for everything from listening to the Beatles to towing a car.

Used 16 gauge wire to add fans, lighting, and USB charging ports in our camper van. Quality is comparable to Ancor brand marine duplex wire of the same gauge.
