This is exactly the rope I was needing. It is strong enough and more to manage the roller furler on the sailboat and does not snarl or kink up.l

the rope will be used for boat fenders and will be exposed to the elements for 5 months of the year. Previous rope of this type lasted 15 years so this should be the last rope for this use in my lifetime.

Have used New England Rope for years on my sailboats. Havent fount a better product. Why people spend huge bucks on boats and buy cheap dock line, running line and anchor rode at a hardware store is beyond me. Quality stuff, isnt effected by sun, much at all. I bought this for my flag halyard. Expect it will outlast me.

Having a variety of color designs is helpful when fitting out a boat. Be sure to bind the section you wish to cut with tape before cutting or it will fray like crazy. Then use a lighter or butane torch to melt and seal the ends. Handles well.
